- The 19-year-old midfielder has already emerged as a revelation in the Championship.
- He keeps impressing for Charlton game in and game out.
- Charlton boss Lee Bowyer wants to make sure the team are keeping our young talent.
Charlton manager Lee Bowyer can't get enough of our young talent, who's scored a long-range screamer in Derby win this weekend.
"Some finish, wasn't it?" said Bowyer. "An unbelievable strike but I don't get carried away with it because he does it every day in training. For me, the kid's got everything. Chelsea have got some player there and he's only 19. Hopefully, we can keep him for the season.
"The kid’s doing so well, I don’t know how much more I can praise him," the boss finished.
Gallagher has become a key piece for Charlton in their first season back in the Championship: he started 11 last games, scoring 5 goals and providing 2 assists.
