Joel Matip: To be fair, Matip misses a lot of games due to injuries and his stock dips because of that. However, when fit, the African barely has a bad game - calm and composed on the ball, a great tackler and can head the ball really well!
James Milner: Do we even have to explain this pick? The most versatile player in the team, Captain Durable - a leader of men and an inspiration to the youngsters, Milner's importance as the vice-captain often goes under the radar.
Gini Wijnaldum: He's not our best midfielder but he has come up clutch in several big games and without him, the 2019 Champions League title would have been impossible. Wijnaldum might leave at the end of this season, but his contributions have been immense.
Fabinho: While Jordan Henderson has received a lot of recognition, many fans forget that Fabinho was the best defensive midfielder in the world for a good year and easily our most important midfielder before his injury last season. What a signing the Brazilian has been!
Andrew Robertson: You may think he does not belong here, but hear us out - Trent Alexander-Arnold gets more praise due to his offensive prowess and the fact that he is a Scouser. However, Robbo's defence and the cover he provides for our forwards combined with his offensive skills make him the best left-back in the world, and he does deserve more applause for his work.
Mohamed Salah: No player has been involved in more goals since Salah's arrival in England and the Egyptian King has consistently been our best player since he signed for us in 2017. Yet, he never gets as much applause and credit as he deserves and that needs to change - we have a top 3 forward in our team and we must treat Salah like the legend he is.
