Daniel Sturridge decided to withdraw from making his full A-League debut for Perth Glory against Western United as he is not used to long flights in between games.The club’s owner Tony Sage spoke about why Sturridge didn’t feature against United, saying: “Look, a lot of consultation goes ahead, and when I saw the team sheet I made the call to sound out why (Sturridge was left off).
