On that day Reds had to do without Philippe Coutinho due to a back injury. Our team quickly fell behind to Stefano Okaka's header. Sadio Mane equalised but Abdoulaye Doucoure restored the lead really soon. Roberto Firmino's penalty made it 2-2 and then the Brazilian provided Salah with a spectacular lob, helping the Egyptian score his first goal for us.

Since then, Mo Salah scored a stunning 32 goals for Liverpool. He received the Premier League Golden Boot and became the first player to win three Premier League Player of the Month awards in the same season. He was also named in the 2017–18 PFA Team of the Year.
