Gomez allegedly fit to play for Liverpool today
- Joe Gomez is reported to be ready for today's game against West Ham
According to Liverpool Echo, Joe Gomez will be able to play against West Ham United in today's Premier League starting game. The source is David Lynch, ex-LFC and currently Liverpool correspondent for the Evening Standard.

Gomez was left out of the 3-1 win against Torino on Tuesday. According to our boss Jurgen Klopp, his health issues were not really serious. "Joe, I think, is okay for the weekend. It was nothing serious, but tonight it was not possible [for Gomez to play]. He played on Saturday and now it's Tuesday. It's pretty tight," said the German manager after the game against Torino.
As Dejan Lovren is out of the game, reportedly due to stomach muscle issues, Gomez was one of the most likely players to appear in the centre of defense. The actual lineup for today is still not officially announced.
Clyne will be along side Gomez. There’s no way Klopp will play two inexperienced defenders in the left side of the defense.
