- Barcelona boss Setien doesn't hide his exciement of possibly coaching Neymar.
- However, he feels blessed to train Messi, the best player in the world.
Talking to beIN Sports, Barcelona's head coach Quique Setien was asked about the possibility of coaching Neymar as there have been rumours about his potential return this summer.
"I would like to coach Neymar someday but like any other player, we are talking about a big-level player," the boss confessed.
"Fortunately I have already been able to fulfil one of the dreams, — training the best player in the world, who is Leo Messi. We'll see what happens."
As for the 28-year-old, the club tried to land him last summer but Paris Saint-Germain refused to cooperate. This season, such a deal is even less probable.
The pandemic has indeed crippled Barca's economy, that is a fact. As you may remember, the players have agreed to take pay cuts in order to help the club survive.
It is unlikely that Barca will afford more than one big-money transfer. Lautaro Martinez remains the club's top target for this summer.
Ney might stay at Parc des Princes after all. He's bagged 18 goals and 10 assists for the Ligue 1 champions in 22 appearances so far this season.
