Firpo could leave after just one season at Barca.
- Atalanta are interested in landing Barcelona's left-back Junior Firpo on loan after selling Timothy Castagne to Leicester City, Tuttomercatoweb reports.
- The Bergamese could land the 23-year-old on loan for €2m and his deal would also include a buy option for €18m plus €5m in variables.
- The Spaniard is unlikely to get much action this season, with Ronald Koeman clearly preferring Jordi Alba, as shown during the friendlies.
- If Firpo was to leave, it's expected that Juan Miranda would take up the role of Alba's back-up at left-back.
- Junior arrived from Real Betis for €18m but failed to become a regular and provide some competition for Alba.
- In total, he has managed just one goal in 23 matches for the Catalan giants in his debut season.

pls guys turn on post notification for Barca's giveaways as inter and Seville has been announced lucky winners for receiving Vidal and rakitic. So guys get ready for the next giveaway
nice and all but we dont even have money to get another LB. i know we gave rakitic and vidal away...but this is not free give away spree.
Geen Naam, we have Miranda, he can play as Alba’s backup position!
Kalocsai Márk, wouldnt trust him as our only LB if alba gets injured tho.
Geen Naam, Geen, relax. Miranda will be just temporary solution till we fix the financial books.
So we are selling Firpo and promoting Miranda as 2nd LB, who was not able to even break into Schalke playing 11 when on loan and we are relying on same Alba as first choice who was one of the main reasons for Roma and Liverpool debacle. Great. The club is going nowhere.
