- Joaquin is glad that the Dutchman was fired early from Los Che as they ended up finishing the season well.
- The winger says he and Koeman won't even greet each other on Saturday,
During an interview with El Larguero, Joaquin, who played for one season under Ronald Koeman, was asked whether he'd like to have the Dutchman as the coach at Real Betis considering that they worked together at Valencia.
"Not even as a kitman," the Spaniard laughed. "It wasn't a good experience [at Valencia].
"But I've moved on. It didn't last long and we saved the season. On Saturday he won't say hello to me and I won't say hello to him."
Koeman coached Valencia between November 2007 and April 2008, recording 11 wins, 9 draws and 14 losses. Back then, Joaquin was still at Los Che, as he left the club only in 2011.
Barca are set to take on Betis on Saturday, November 7, at 16:15 pm CET.
