Seedorf, 42, represented Real Madrid from 1996 to 2000 winning one domestic title and the Champions League. Kluivert, also 42, was on Barca books from 1998 to 2004 only winning one LaLiga trophy.
Seedorf has previously managed AC Milan, Chinese club Shenzhen and Deportivo La Coruna but he only lasted less than six months in all three roles.
