MD: World Cup stars shorten their holidays to prepare for the season
- Umtiti, Dembélé, Vermaelen, and Rakitic return from their holidays earlier than expected to get ready for the season
- Some of the arrived players are expected to take part in the Supercopa against Sevilla on August 12
A piece of good news has emerged on Barca's horizon as the World Cup stars return to Ciutat Esportiva to prepare for the Supercopa against Sevilla.
Except for the injured André Gomes, Denis Suárez, and Carles Aleñá, all the main squad options appear to be available, including Ivan Rakitic, Samuel Umtiti, Luis Suarez, Philippe Coutinho, Yerry Mina and Thomas Vermaelen, all returning from their vacation these days to start their first training session.
Players like Umtiti, Dembélé, Vermaelen, and Rakitic have thus shortened their holidays to arrive in conditions ahead of the next fixtures.

Ernesto Valverde is expected to use at least a few of them to secure this season's first trophy for Barca.
On Monday the arrived players will pass the usual analytical and physical tests. Afterward, they will train at 9.30 am and at 6.30 pm at the Ciutat Esportiva behind closed doors.
Barca will play their next match on August 12, which is going to be Supercopa.
