Barcelona welcome their World Cup heroes' return
- Ernesto Valverde now has his entire squad at the disposal with the exception of injured Andre Gomes
On Monday morning Barcelona boss has welcomed the return of the latest internationals who took part in the final stages of the Russia World Cup. These are: Luis Suarez, Philippe Coutinho, Yerry Mina, Thomas Vermaelen, vice-champions Ivan Rakitic and world champion Samuel Umtiti. Another Frenchman, Ousmane Dembele, has cut his holiday short and returned earlier than expected.
The Catalans have completed their first training session before noon while another one is scheduled for Monday evening. In-between there is going to be an official presentation of Blaugrana new star signing, Arturo Vidal which you can follow via club's official Youtube channel.
However, everything could change very quickly. Thomas Vermaelen is considered to be surplus to Barca requirement and is expected to leave. Meanwhile, Yerry Mina is torn between Everton and Lyon. Both clubs are certain in their desire to land the Colombian and have already offered about €30m.
Barcelona's first official match of the 2018/2019 season kicks off on Sunday night when they face Sevilla in the Spanish Supercopa in Morocco. The debut league game will be the following week, at Camp Nou against Alaves.
