Catalan media: Bayern join the race for Rakitic
- The Croatian has already been linked with both PSG and Monaco
- He has a €125m buy-out clause which could be easy to activate
Ivan Rakitic is a much-wanted man this summer following his World Cup exploits. The vice-champion has reportedly grabbed interest from PSG and Monaco and now Mundo Deportivo have made another bold claim linking the Croatian with Bayern Munich.
The Barcelona-based newspaper believes the Rekordmeister's new coach Niko Kovac would be happy to bring his fellow compatriot at the Allianz Arena stadium. Kovac reportedly considers Rakitiс to be 'a great fit' for Bayern, as Mundo Deportivo have put it.

The same source also claims the Germans are ready to prepare a hefty bid for the Croatian, who has a €125m buy-out clause in his contract at Barca. Bayern Munich, as well as other contenders - Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco - are all supposed to have enough funds to afford the midfielder.
Rakitic was the most used player last season by Barca boss Ernesto Valverde and one of the most frequent-used players, including his World Cup performances, in general. Last season, he made 36 LaLiga appearances and finished the season with a goal and 5 assists in stock, as per Transfermarkt.
What about the fans, though? Could they imagine letting one of their team's best players leave? Barcelona Live user Ankur Dave warns them that PSG have everything in their arsenal to orchestrate this sensational transfer.
