Former Barca player Ronaldo taken to hospital at Ibiza

Former Brazil star Ronaldo Nazario was urgently taken to Ibiza hospital on Friday, according to the reports in both Italian and Spanish press. The 42-year-old has been on vacations in Ibiza where he owns a personal villa when he suddenly fell gravely ill with pneumonia. He is currently in the 'intensive care'.
Local authorities from Ibiza and Formentera reported the worrying news to the island's press Diario de Ibiza. According to this source, Ronaldo was taken to the Hospital de Can Misses de Ibiza on Friday, however, he was later transferred to a private hospital in the ICU of the Policlinical Nuestra Senora del Rosario.

"Dear friends, I had a strong flu in Ibiza and had to be hospitalized on Friday but everything is in order. Tomorrow I'm discharging and return home. Thank you all for your love and your messages!"
