Boateng to wear the shirt Leo Messi has once had

Kevin-Prince Boateng has signed a contract with Barcelona until the end of the season and has been unveiled as the club's newest signing at the Camp Nou on Tuesday afternoon. The player was wearing the number 19 shirt which has been once worn by Barcelona main star Lionel Messi.
Messi has been wearing this shirt in seasons 2006/07 and 2007/08 before switching to his classic number 10 after the previous owner Ronaldinho has left the club. Earlier, Leo has worn the number 30 shirt in seasons 2004/05 and 2005/06.
Maxwell, Martin Montoya, Ibrahim Afellay, Sandro Ramirez, Lucas Digne and Munir El Haddadi have had this number after Messi and before KPB.
On Monday, Barcelona have announced the loan deal for Kevin-Prince Boateng from Sassuolo with an option to buy the 31-year-old for €8m at the end of the season. Boateng spent the last four seasons changing the Serie A, the Bundesliga and La Liga clubs. The Ghanian has scored 5 goals and provided 2 assists in 13 matches this season in the Serie A and Coppa Italia.
