Mourinho admits he'd never want to see Juventus vs Barcelona in quarter-finals
- 'The special one' sat down with Russia Today to give his predictions for the CL draw
- He hopes Juve and Barca will be facing each other off at later stages of the Champions League, say final
- The 56-year-old went on to name his other preferences as we draw nearer to the CL draw
The 56-year-old Portuguese, who used to coach Inter, Real Madrid and Man United sat down with Russia Today to open up on his CL preferences.
And guess what, he'd love to see Juventus - Barcelona at a later stage of the campaign as this game would truly be defining:
"I wouldn’t like Juventus against Barcelona because I think it would be something really special Barcelona against Juventus in a possible final or semi-final.
"Two great teams that are not being successful in the Champions League for a few years, of course Juventus so much more than Barcelona,
"And led by two big players Cristiano [Ronaldo] and [Lionel] Messi is something I wouldn’t waste on a quarter-final, I would wait a little bit more."
He changes his tone for a more mundane, matter of fact tone as he discusses other possible CL pairings (well, except for Porto, a club he used to coach back in the day):

‘I would like English teams to play against each other, without any kind of preference.
‘My second choice would be not by tactical or emotional reasons but by what I think would be fantastic extra motivation I would do Ajax versus Porto, as that would mean one of them reach the semi-finals.
