- The Blaugrana star is included alongside fellow Argentinean greats such as Di Maria, Dybala and Aguero.
- The competition will take place in Brazil between June 14 and July 7.
Lionel Messi is set to take part in his yet another Copa America tournament with hopes to finally bring some silverware together with his national team. The Barcelona marksman is named in Argentina's 32-man provisional squad published by the Albiceleste head coach, Lionel Scaloni, on May 15.
Nine players will be excluded from the squad before the competition starts. Copa America will take place in Brazil this time between June 14 and July 7. Apart from various South American countries, Japan and Qatar national teams are also invited to participate.
Leo Messi's Argentina find themselves in the same group with Colombia, Paraguay and Qatar.
Messi has never won any major international trophy apart from U20 World Cup and Olympic Gold. However, he reached three big finals in a row - the 2014 World Cup defeat to Germany was followed by two consecutive Copa America disappointments.
