Close friend thinks unselfish Griezmann is perfect for Barca
- Antoine Griezmann's close friend Diego Ifran discusses the forward's transfer to Barcelona.
- He praises the Frenchman who is a joker but only off the pitch.
- Griezmann is also perfect for Barca's unselfish football, Ifran stresses.
"Griezmann is a laugh, but always off the field. On the pitch there is a very serious person," Ifran told Marca.
"What you see of Griezmann is what he is, a healthy and hardworking person. Griezmann is a fantastic teammate, and at Barcelona, they play a total team game, there isn't room for any selfishness."
Antoine Griezmann announced his decision to leave Atletico Madrid on Tuesday. The Frenchman is now heavily linked with the Barcelona move, however, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are also interested.
French sports publication L'Equipe claim to know the details of the offer Barcelona made to Griezmann. The forward will be given a five-year contract until 2024 on 17 million euros net per year salary. It's less than 21 million he currently makes at Atletico, but the Frenchman will make more in sponsorship and marketing at Camp Nou.
