Raiola denies talking to PSG over De Ligt: 'It's all fake news'
- Earlier reports claim that De Ligt's agent went to Paris to discuss his transfer.
- Mino, however, denies the rumours calling it fake news.
- It's possible that Raiola was in France's capital for other reasons.
Several sources suggested earlier that Matthijs De Ligt's transfer to Paris Saint-Germain was almost done and that his agent, Mino Raiola, was in Paris to finalize the deal. However, the Portugues denied the rumours in a recent interview:
"I was in Paris and this man asked me if he could take a picture with me. I told him yes, I did not know he was a journalist," the agent told French outlet Le 10 sport.
When asked if the 19-year-old's transfer to PSG was done, Mino didn't have much information to offer:
"I do not know, it's all fake news."
Now that the UEFA Nations League finals are over, Ajax's captain will finally have the chance to sit down and make a final decision regarding his future. Reportedly, the centre-back is currently deciding between Barcelona and PSG. Although the French offer a better contract, Matthijs said money was not a problem.
Do you think this means De Ligt will join Barca in the end?
