Casemiro reacts to Messi's claims of 'corruption' at Copa America
- Real Madrid player prefers to keep things diplomatic.
- 'It's a delicate issue. It is not for me to say'.
- Leo believes the whole Copa was rigged for Brazil to win it.
- He now faces a two-year international ban after his accusations.
"Those who have a mouth speak what they want, it's not my turn to speak, it's a delicate issue. It is not for me to say if the arbitration was done well or not, we all try to do the best and we must congratulate Peru for their Copa America run," said Casemiro commenting on Messi's Copa America reactions after being red-carded against Chile.
The Barcelona forward could face severe consequences following his infamous rant targeted at the Copa America officials. In fact, the Argentine lashed out at the referees twice - after the 2-0 semi-finals defeat at the hands of Brazil and after his scandalous expulsion in the third-place playoff against Chile. Messi didn't even show up to collect his bronze medal, stating he didn't want to take part in this corruption.
