Bild: Barca allegedly offer players instead of money for Neymar
- The Catalans are reportedly offering three players out of the quartet of Coutinho, Dembele, Umtiti and Semedo.
- PSG, however, are said to be not interested in this exchange deal because of the said players' excessive salary demands.
- Previously, Marca claimed that PSG want to receive 222 million euros for the Brazilian.
A rather surprising story has emerged in German top source Bild. Apparently, Barcelona are not going to offer Paris Saint-Germain any money to sign Neymar even though the Brazilian is priced at 200 million euros at least.
What could be PSG's potential response? Bild update on their story as they now claim that the Parisians are not 'convinced' by Barca's unexpected offer. Money - or the lack of it - could be the main issue. In fact, the future salaries of these three Barca players would still exceed Neymar's wages which would make the whole deal fruitless for PSG.
Previously, Marca have already reported on this matter. They stated that PSG allegedly demand 222 million euros for Neymar - the same sum they paid back in 2017 and which made the Brazilian the most expensive transfer ever. Moreover, they are said to be not interested in bringing Barcelona players as part of the exchange deal.
Neymar's relationships with PSG have deteriorated as the Brazilian went AWOL and snubbed Monday's first pre-season training season with the Parisians. The club's sporting director Leonardo has recently confirmed the possibility of this transfer. However, he says Neymar could only leave if a suitable offer arrives.
