Barca in 'very advanced' talks over Firpo - Catalan media
- Several media sources claim that Junior Firpo is getting really close to Barca.
- Despite his €50m release clause, Betis consider selling the player for €25m.
- The 22-year-old will likely come to Barcelona to serve as Jordi Alba's substitute.
- Barca's Juan Miranda could be included in the deal.
Also, Marca suggest that the Spaniard will become Barca player very soon, with Betis aiming to get €30m for the 22-year-old.
Although the player's release clause stands at a number of €50m, it seems that Verdiblancos are indeed determined to trade in order to obtain a preferable fee.
Barca's promising left-back Juan Miranda could also be included in the deal. However, the Catalans don't rush to sell him as soon as possible and would rather go for a loan move.
Junior Firpo is considered to be Barcelona's top priority as a left-back candidature to substitute Jordi Alba. Among other strong candidates, there have been recent rumours over the moves of David Alaba (27, Bayern Munich), Philipp Max (25, Augsburg) and Jerome Roussillon (26, Wolfsburg).
