After a long flight to Japan, Barcelona have finally landed. Although there is no training session planned for Sunday, the players will only get to rest later in the evening. First, the squad attended an event organized by the tour's sponsors, at which Ernesto Valverde was asked to share his expectations of the upcoming matches against Chelsea and Vissel Kobe:
"We are Barça and we have to win always," he said.
"[The goal is] to maintain our defined style, and it will be throughout the season. The people demand it from us," he said.
"We have many fans here and we want them to be happy. We want to show that we are close to our Japanese fans despite the distance. Coming here is a great opportunity for us."
The coaching staff has made their choice in favour of 26 players traveling to Japan.
