Mundo Deportivo: Real Madrid allegedly offer Bale plus cash for Barca-linked Neymar
- The Brazilian is set to leave his current club this summer.
- Barcelona is said to be his top priority but Ney could still consider other destinations.
- Our arch-rivals reportedly offered €90m plus Bale in exchange for the 27-year-old.
- PSG can allegedly also chose James instead of the Welshman.
According to a recent report from Barcelona-based news outlet Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid have set their sights on Neymar. Reportedly, Los Blancos have made a €90m plus Gareth Bale offer for the Brazilian. Moreover, they allegedly offered Paris Saint-Germain the chance to choose between the Welshman and James Rodriguez, as both players are set to leave Santiago Bernabeu this summer.
The same source reports that Barca remains Ney's top priority. However, the Brazil international's father and agent, Neymar Sr., has reportedly told football intermediary Pini Zahavi to look at other options.
Besides the two La Liga sides, Juventus, Bayern Munich and Manchester United all remain possible destinations. A move to England seems less probable considering that the Red Devils won't play Champions League football next season.
Reportedly, the 27-year-old has good friends at Madrid which could help him integrate into the squad. Firstly, he has a good relationship with Marcelo and Casemiro. And secondly, he was full of praise for Real's captain Sergio Ramos, calling him the best player he has faced.
As for Barcelona, the Catalans are said to be interested in bringing back their ex-player but won't go out of their way to secure the transfer. Reportedly, Blaugrana believes that Neymar isn't worth more than €170m and will try to agree on a deal around this mark.
