- Neymar has been linked with a Neymar return.
- PSG's sporting director recently revealed that Barca haven't submitted any offers for the Brazilian.
- Vice-president Cardoner confirmed that there is no 'Neymar case'.
July will soon be over and it seems like the Neymar transfer saga is far from reaching its end. Despite recent reports claiming that Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are set to finalize a deal for Neymar later this week, the Catalans' vice-president Jordi Cardoner revealed in a recent interview, that, in fact, there is nothing going on:
"The president has already said it, there is no Neymar case.
"It is a case that does not exist, it is true that it is topical, there has been a lot of talk and it seems that the player is not comfortable there but we are not considering it," he told TV3.
Recently, PSG's sporting director Leonardo Araujo confirmed that Barca are yet to make an offer for the 27-year-old:
"Honestly, nothing's different from what it was last time we spoke [at a presser]. Nothing at all. Nothing's moved, and there's no concrete offer for Neymar. He's with us, he's a PSG player.
"Barcelona offering a swap deal? I repeat, there's no concrete offer. It's the same situation as it was 10 days ago."
Neymar is now set to continue at Paris Saint-Germain for the time being. He has recently resumed training with the Parisians and could even travel with his current team to the pre-season tour to China with the friendlies against Inter Milan and Australian giants Syndey FC.
