Paris United: PSG want to resolve Neymar transfer drama before actual season begins
- The Brazilian wants to leave his current club this summer.
- PSG are also tired of his antics.
- Ligue 1 club want the saga to be resolved before the start of the regular season to avoid confrontation with fans.
- However, there is still no offer for the Brazilian that would be enough to ship him off.
The French club want to prevent an open confrontation between the Brazilian and the hardcore PSG fans from happening. This might involve selling the player. However, the Ligue 1 champions might have a problem with that: there is still no offer that would have sufficed to sell the controversial Brazilian.
Indeed, PSG's sporting director Leonardo Araujo confirmed that Barca who are concidered the favourites to sign Ney are yet to make an offer for the 27-year-old:
"Honestly, nothing's different from what it was last time we spoke [at a presser]. Nothing at all. Nothing's moved, and there's no concrete offer for Neymar. He's with us, he's a PSG player.
"Barcelona offering a swap deal? I repeat, there's no concrete offer. It's the same situation as it was 10 days ago."
This means that Neymar is now set to continue at Paris Saint-Germain for the time being. He has recently resumed training with the Parisians and could even travel with his current team to the pre-season tour to China with the friendlies against Inter Milan and Australian giants Syndey FC.
