Valverde praises Griezmann: 'He has very bad intentions for opponent'

Ernesto Valverde addresses the press after Barcelona's first game of the 2019 pre-season. The Catalans lost 2-1 to Chelsea in Japan with Ivan Rakitic scoring the only goal and Antoine Griezmann making his debut together with Frenkie de Jong. The boss doesn't seem to be unfazed by the result as he also praises the Frenchman.
Diario Sport quote Valverde as saying: "It was an intense game in some moments and it was noticeable that they were playing their fourth game and for us it was the first. We also played with a lot of young players and debutants. It was a test to get started in the competition."
He adds on Griezmann: "He should get comfortable, improve, but each time he gets the ball he has very bad intentions for the opponent. He's very dangerous with the ball and we expect a lot from him. When we can dominate more, he will have more interventions."
