- Griezmann also believes everything could change as soon as Messi, Suarez, Arthur and Coutinho rejoin the squad.
Even though he only lasted for 45 minutes, Antoine Griezmann has managed to impress on his Barcelona debut. The Frenchman started the disappointing 2-1 Chelsea defeat from the very first minutes and was substituted after the break.
Griezmann says after the game, as quoted by Diario AS: "It's very special to wear the Barca jersey. It wasn't so nice with the loss but I sure better games will come. They were our first minutes and we have time to improve."
He also believes everything could change as soon as the South American players, including Leo Messi, rejoin the squad. Griezmann continues: "It's true that with Luis and with Messi it's better. With Arthur and with Philippe Coutinho but they aren't here and you have to try and find solutions. I am here for the team and I'm not fussed about what role I get."
By the way, Griezmann has recently revealed he is looking forward to meeting Leo Messi who is still on holidays after the Copa America exploits.
