L'Equipe reveal 'most realistic scenario' of Neymar's future
- The player is still determined to leave PSG, however, his dream transfer doesn't seem to be possible.
- The Parisians will only accept money for Neymar while Barca would rather orchestrate a swap deal to bring the Brazilian back.
- PSG allegedly price him at €222million which is beyond the Catalans' reach.
There is no secret that Neymar wants to leave Paris Saint-Germain. However, the most recent report from the French top source L'Equipe provide a worrying update on his future. Apparently, the Parisians' demands make his transfer virtually impossible.
Moreover, L'Equipe even reveal 'the most realistic scenario' of Neymar's future which is to stay at PSG. Why is it so?
Even though PSG are obviously annoyed by Neymar's scandalous behaviour and horrible injury history, they are reportedly not ready to part ways with their iconic signing. That's why they could only allow him to leave for the exact sum they signed him in 2017, the infamous €222million.
Barcelona, meanwhile, cannot accept these terms due to their own financial situation. That's why they would rather swap Neymar for one or two their players. Ivan Rakitic, Philippe Coutinho, Ousmane Dembele and Samuel Umtiti have all been reportedly offered to PSG. But the Parisians don't want them, they only want money, as per various sources, including L'Equipe.
Sky in Germany reported last week that Barca offered €100m for Neymar.
Moreover, L'Equipe add that PSG are also not interested in Real Madrid's offer which allegedly includes unwanted Gareth Bale and 90 million euros in cash for Neymar. Once again, the Parisians want only money for their wantaway star. Otherwise, he is set to remain at Parc des Princes.
In any case, Neymar seems to have already accepted his fate. After all, he has been included in the PSG squad to travel to China for the pre-season tour.
