Official: Neymar left out of PSG squad list ahead of Inter friendly
- The Parisians' coaching staff believe that Neymar lacks match fitness.
- Earlier on, PSG coach Thomas Tuchel assured that the Brazilian would be fit.
- The French club will have just one pre-season test left before the season kicks off.
"Presnel Kimpembe and Neymar [will] stay at base camp in Shenzhen to continue their individual physical work twice a day with staff members to extend their preparation," the club said in a statement.
However, several days before the official statement, PSG coach Thomas Tuchel was strongly confident that the 27-year-old would take part.
After the match against Inter, PSG will have to face one more team ahead of the new season. The friendly between the French club and Sydney FC will be held on Tuesday, July 30.
Meanwhile, PSG are reportedly determined to solve the problem of Neymar's future before the new season kicks off. It means that Tuesday's appearance for the Parisians could become the last for the Brazilian in case the move happens.
