Cillessen: 'I don't miss Barcelona at all'
- The Dutchman is extremely excited ahead of 'playing football' at Valencia.
- However, the 30-year-old admits that Ter Stegen is a better option.
- Jasper left Barca in June for a fee of €35m.
"I don't miss anything. I've only been here for three weeks but for me, Valencia has got everything I need," revealed Jasper in his latest interview.
"At Barca, I wasn't playing," complained the 30-year-old.
Still, the player agrees that the decision to choose Ter Stegen over him in the starting XI is fair.
"Ter Stegen is a great goalkeeper who keeps getting better and better. I spent three years there but I wasn't playing - and I want to play, not just train every day."
Jasper is now extremely delighted with the opportunity to succeed at Valencia.
"For me, coming to Valencia is a step forward in my career although it'll be up to the coach how much I play."
The Dutchman has been taken over by Valencia for €35m this summer. He played 32 matches in total and won two Ligas, two Copas del Rey and a Supercopa with Barcelona.
