UOL Esporte: Dani Alves still waiting for Barca offer
- The right-back is currently a free agent.
- Dani is said to favour a move back to Camp Nou.
- He offered himself to Barca but the board rejected him.
- The 36-year-old reportedly will wait until the first week of August for Barca as he thinks there still is a chance.
According to a recent report from Brazilian outlet UOL Esporte, ex-Blaugrana Dani Alves still hopes that he could return to Camp Nou. Reportedly, the 36-year-old is willing to wait for an offer from Barcelona until the first week of August. The right-back is aware that Barca still have to work on their squad and Dani believes he could be a good addition to the defence line.
Reportedly, Dani hopes that Neymar could influence his move to Barcelona. More precisely, the Brazilian hopes that Nelson Semedo could be included in a swap deal for Ney thus leaving a spot to fill in defence.
Earlier reports claim that the Brazil international had offered himslef to Barca but his signature has been rejected by the board. However, with Sergi Roberto back in midfield and Nelson Semedo remaining our only right-back option, perhaps there is a chance that Dani Alves will end up wearing Blaugrana again.
Still a free agent, Dani looks like he's trying to find a new club on Instagram. The Brazilian left the Paris Saint-Germain this summer on contract expiry.
So, now Dani is asking what he needs to do to find a new club.
"Looking for a job, where do I put my CV? Someone let me know if you have time to read it," he wrote.
