Iniesta reveals how many jerseys he collected after Barca game (and it's more than you expect)
- Barca faced off against Iniesta's current team Vissel Kobe.
- After the game, Andres revealed he collected '20 or so' Barcelona jerseys.
- The midfielder claims his current teammates asked him to do it.
Barcelona finished off their Japan tour by beating Vissel Kobe 2-0. The Japanese side had Blaugrana legend Andres Iniesta on their side, who put in a very impressive display in the first half, creating several chances and even almost scoring himself. After the game, the 35-year-old revealed that he went to Barca's dressing room to collect jerseys from his ex-teammates:
"I've taken almost all of them. More than anything for my teammates. I've been lucky enough to play there for many years, but not them. I brought a whole backpack with me. About 20 or so."
The midfielder also shared his sensations of the match:
"It has been weird and special. Once the game starts, you worry about playing and giving a good image.
"Busquets? It has been strange to have them in front and not as a partner. I have enjoyed and savoured it. Overall, I think we haven't played bad. It has been a special day. I am happy."
Now that the Japan tour is over, Barcelona returns to Catalonia and will resume training on Monday. The squad will spend one week preparing for the Joan Gamper Trophy against Arsenal and will leave for the USA the week after.
