Barcelona B's centre-back Ronald Araujo made his first-team debut in the pre-season friendly against Vissel Kobe. Following the match, which the 20-year-old played from start, Ronald seemed very satisfied with his performance:
"I work every day to be here, with the first team, it is my goal from the first moment."
"Coming from Uruguay, adaptation costs a little more, but I hope to continue working to have more opportunities. For me it is a dream since I was little to be able to be here with the first team, I have worked hard for it."
"We have a very good group, everyone speaks to each one of us in our first preseason."
"Luis Suarez? He is an example for every Uruguayan, a reference, it would be very nice to go on the tour in Miami and share mate with him, chat. Especially talk."

Barcelona signed Araujo last summer from Uruguayan club Boston Rivers. The Catalans paid an initial fee of €1.7m with possible €3.5m in add-ons. The centre-back signed a five-year deal and was assigned to the second team, where he ended up playing 22 games and scoring three goals.
