JUST IN: PSG keep offering Neymar to other clubs but not Barca
- Due to the tensed relationships between the sides, the Parisians would like to see Neymar joining a different side.
- They have reportedly offered the Brazilian to Manchester United, Juventus and Real Madrid.
- As for the player himself, he only wants to rejoin Barca.
Tuesday's edition of Barcelona-based newspaper Diario Sport shed light on Neymar's future. They claim Paris Saint-Germain are doing everything within their power to keep the Brazilian out from the much-desired Barca return. Allegedly, they have offered him to various European top clubs, namely Manchester United, Juventus and Real Madrid.
Sport believe PSG wouldn't mind letting Neymar leave but only on their terms. Given the tensed relationships between the two clubs, it seems unlikely that Barcelona could receive a nod from the Parisians. Moreover, they doubt the Catalans could afford their financial demands which is to pay Neymar's €200-300million transfer fee in full.
What about Neymar though? The Brazilian only wants the Camp Nou return, as per the same source. However, in order to get his wish, he should start acting and pushing for the desired move.
Diario Sport have previously reported that PSG are going to include Neymar in the match squad to face Nimes in the Ligue 1 opener this Sunday. Still, their priority is said to be resolving the wantaway star's future by that time.
Barcelona, meanwhile, keep silent on this transfer. The board insist there is no Neymar case as he is still a PSG player. That's what the club's vice-president Jordi Cardoner said before the Joan Gamper trophy on Sunday:
"As of today, there's no Neymar case, as the president [Josep Maria Bartomeu] said, and it's complicated. We are passive actors. We know he's not happy in Paris and it's a situation that needs to be resolved in Paris. Today, at this time, it's ruled out."
