Neymar's father won't tell if his son prefers move to Barca or Madrid
- Neymar Sr names the recipe for his son's happiness.
- Ney just needs to enjoy his football without injuries again no matter where, says the player's father.
- However, injuries and struggles have only made the Brazilian stronger, Neymar Sr concludes.
Diario AS decided to ask the player's father and agent if Ney would rather join Barca or Real Madrid. However, Neymar Sr remains coy on his son's future plans.
"He'll be happy once he starts enjoying his football again," he told AS without specifying where Ney could possibly achieve this kind of happiness.
"Because of an injury, my son's spent a while without playing football and he's been out of action since June but during that time he has developed internal strength to help him overcome his problems," added Neymar Sr.
Finally, the forward's father said that the hard times Ney had at PSG with many injuries and conflicts only made his son stronger:
"Life and football have taught him how to be a stronger person during moments of difficulty."
In any case, Ney is set to return on the pitch soon, the father insists:
"He'll be back out on the field of play soon. As his father, it's a pleasure to see my son playing football. It makes me feel very proud. It won't be long now before he's back..."
Interestingly, Catalan top source RAC1 predict Neymar to miss PSG's opening clash in the Ligue 1 against Nimes continuing his 'cold war' against the Parisians' bosses to finally force the move away from the club.
According to Goal, Blaugrana are losing the race for Neymar, especially following the failure to offload Philippe Coutinho. The Brazilian has reportedly rejected a loan move to Tottenham while the mere possibility of joining a Premier League side vanished as the transfer window in England is now closed.
Paris Saint-Germain could be perfectly happy with this scenario because this would open the door for the Brazilian joining Real Madrid. Moreover, Goal claim Los Blancos have already offered €100 million-plus.
Would it upset you if we lose the race for the Brazilian to Real Madrid?
