Barca players return to Catalan capital, first training on Tuesday

Barcelona have ended their US-tour with an impressive 4-0 win over Napoli on Saturday's night. The players have already returned to the Catalan capital as they start preparations for the La Liga opening fixture the coming week.
The club reveal the team's official schedule for the next week. The Catalans resume training only this Tuesday, August 13. The sessions will be held at 9:30 AM on Tuesday and Wednesday.
On Thursday, however, Barcelona will host a traditional pre-match press conference at about 18:00. The training is set to take place at 18:30.
The La Liga opening fixture has officially been rescheduled for Friday, August 16. Barcelona travel to the Basque country to face Ernesto Valverde's former team, Athletic Club. The game kicks off at 21:00 CET.
The recovery session is set to take place only on Monday, August 19.
Barcelona have won four out of five pre-season games. They only lost to Chelsea 2-1 in their debut fixture in Japan. Afterwards, they beat Vissel Kobe 2-0 and scooped the annual Joan Gamper trophy thanks to the 2-1 Arsenal win. The Catalans travelled to the United States next for the freshly baked Serie A-La Liga Cup friendly. They beat Napoli 6-1 on aggregate over two legs.
