RAC1 reveal details of Barca and Bayern talks over Coutinho
- Bayern are reportedly interested in signing the Brazilian.
- The German club want to sign him on loan with a buy option.
- His exit could open the door for Ney's arrival.
According to the latest update from highly-credible source RAC1, Barcelona and Bayern Munich are in talks over a possible loan with a buy option of Philippe Coutinho. The 27-year-old still remains one of the main candidates to leave Camp Nou until the transfer window shuts.
Reportedly, the Bavarians will pay the player's wages in full, which opens the door for Neymar's arrival from Paris Saint-Germain, as Phil is currently among the best-paid players at the club. Moreover, PSG are said to be interested in the Brazil international but it looks like the deal is off.
Earlier rumours had it that Barcelona offered Coutinho to several Premier League clubs on loan. The alleged moves to Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal failed because the Brazilian was unwilling to accept a loan deal or play for the other Premier League club than Liverpool. However, Jurgen Klopp wasn't interested.
Back in July, Coutinho told reporters: "I have a contract with Barcelona, it was always my will to succeed in this club, but now I am totally concentrated here (with Brazil) and about the future (with Barca) we do not know what will happen.
"Many things that come out in the media are simply not true but as for my future we do not know what is going to happen, that is the truth.
"It's clear that the arrival of big names is always good for a squad that wants to win."
However, it seems like his move out is materializing, be it Bayern or PSG.
