Lionel Messi is reportedly trying to persuade Neymar into joining the Catalans over Real Madrid this summer. The Brazilian looks certain to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer. His next destination, however, remains unknown with both Barca and Madrid keen on his signature.
According to Marca, the Argentine has called Neymar lately to ward him off signing from the Blancos. The relationship between the former teammates are said to be 'excellent', thus, Lionel doesn't want to face the 27-year-old in El Classico next year.
As was predicted by highly-credible journalist Gerard Romero, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain will meet on Tuesday, August 13 for the first time to hold a face-to-face meeting. In fact, Barca sporting advisor Eric Abidal is on his way to Paris in this very moment.
An earlier report from Le Parisien claims that Barcelona have offered the Ligue 1 outfit €60-80m plus Philippe Coutinho in exchange for the Brazilian. Reportedly, the French club want to earn between €180m and €200 from Neymar's. The Catalans value Coutinho at €120m and thus consider the offer to be fair.
Another source, Ignacio Miguelez of El ChiringuitoTV claims that Ney has reached an agreement with both Real Madrid and Barcelona but would still prefer a Camp Nou return, despite Los Blancos' personal offer being better. The winger reportedly waiting for the parties to agree on a move.
