- The parties reportedly haven't reached any agreement.
- However, advancement is remarkable.
- Barca believe that Real Madrid are out of the race.
- The Catalans offer no more than €100m plus Coutinho and Rakitic.
- The next meeting is supposed to be held on Friday, August 16.
For now, there isn't any agreement reached, ESPN report. However, both parties are determined to seal the deal very soon and will need to have at least one more meeting in the following days.
The Catalans are assured that Real Madrid will no longer make inquiries for Neymar which will let the procedure go on easier.
As for Barcelona's offer, several reports state that they desperately wish to complete the deal on their terms: €100m plus Philippe Coutinho and Ivan Rakitic. The Parisians are willing to include one more player in the swapping deal, supposedly Nelson Semedo.
What concerns Rakitic, Leonardo personally wishes to see the Croatian in Tuchel's updated team and that may be the crucial point in the negotiations.
Meanwhile, Philippe Coutinho is linked to a possible loan move to Bayern Munich, however, he could still play a major role in Neymar talks.
