Le Parisien: Barca might try to include Vidal in the deal for Neymar
- The Catalans don't exclude selling Arturo this summer.
- According to the French newspaper, the midfielder has been offered to PSG as a part of Neymar deal.
- Vidal isn't in the squad for Athletic game.
As Mundo Deportivo reported at the start of the week, Barcelona are still in thoughts over Arturo Vidal's future. Although the club values the Chilean's experience and potential to help the team next season, the Catalans could still be attracted by a strong bid.
Curiously, Arturo isn't in the squad for the Athletic Bilbao clash which has been announced on Thursday night.
The French newspaper also add that the Barca financial offer to the Parisians is far less than 100 million euros demanded by PSG. In fact, the amount of money the Catalans are willing to pay for Ney is below 60 million euros as they want to compensate for the lack of money in the offer with players.
As for Vidal, only Antonio Conte's Internazionale are rumoured to be interested in the midfielder. The club's coach personally admires the player's talent and could still make a move for the 32-year-old this month.
Arturo remains to be one of those Barca players who are likely to leave Camp Nou this summer. This is due to Valverde's alleged plan to make a clean-up in midfield. Besides Vidal, Ivan Rakitic and Rafinha could exit already in August.
Vidal has been part of FC Barcelona since 2018. Last season, the "Chilean warrior" made 53 appearances for the Catalans, scoring 3 goals and making 7 assists. He was also shown 10 yellow cards during his time at Barca which outlines his defensive functions in his present club.
