L'Equipe: Dembele says 'no' to PSG
- The Parisians offered to add Dembele in the deal for Neymar.
- They would have pressed for this transfer but the Frenchman has informed PSG that he doesn't want to come.
- Barca and PSG remain as far from agreement on Neymar as they were at the start of the week.
The Parisians would have pressed for the French forward to be part of Neymar transfer as Nasser Al Khelaifi is a huge fan of Ousmane. But, according to L'Equipe, Dembele has already informed the Ligue 1 club's bosses that he isn't interested in the move, even despite his good relationship with Kylian Mbappe and head coach Thomas Tuchel with whom he worked at Dortmund.
This means that two clubs remain as far from agreement as they were at the start of the week with PSG asking for Philippe Coutinho, Nelson Semedo and 100 million euros and Barca offering Coutinho and Rakitic and unwilling to add to the players more than 60 million euros.
"There are talks about Neymar's future but nothing is advanced," told Leonardo to RMC Sport.
He also commented on his personal attitude to the Brazilian.
"Neymar made some mistakes. I didn't have an opportunity to know him before. As the days go by, I know him better. I think he's a good boy with a very good background. And on the pitch, he's an amazing player."
Leonardo is considered to be the key contacting person in the talks between PSG and Barcelona. As stated by different sources on Tuesday, Eric Abidal met Leonardo and discussed the details of the deal for the first time.
