Tuchel hints at Neymar's potential PSG stay despite snubbing him again
- The Brazilian won't play against Rennes this weekend.
- But the PSG coach insists he could still stay at the club
- He says: "Today, we don't have solutions to take him out of the club."
Neymar is no longer frozen out of the Paris Saint-Germain group training. However, he won't play against Rennes this weekend, as the coach, Thomas Tuchel, has just confirmed at the traditional pre-match press conference.
The German specialist says, as quoted by Goal: "Neymar started training with us this Saturday, but didn't finish it. He ended up working on his own, so he will not be with us."
Tuchel also delivers an update on the wantaway star's future. He remains determined to keep hold of the Brazilian.
Tuchel continues: "For me, nothing has changed with Neymar. He is my player. When I think about a strong team, I think of a squad with Ney. Today, we don't have solutions to take him out of the club, nothing has changed. If there is no solution, he will stay with us."
Philippe Coutinho's most recent loan move to Bayern Munich has put a huge question mark on Neymar's eventual Barcelona return. He was the most valuable player for PSG while the Catalans are lacking funds to afford their prodigal son's huge transfer fee.
Neymar hasn't made a single appearance for PSG since last season. He was omitted from the match squad against Nimes last week as well. Despite his absence, the Parisians won 3-0. The Parc des Princes faithful prepared offensive chants and banners targeted at the wantaway Brazilian.
