Suarez gives his final word on if he would be available for Betis clash
- The Uruguayan has returned from his holidays in Morocco.
- When asked if he will be able to play against Betis, the striker confirmed that this is 'impossible'.
Upon his return from the short holidays in Tangier, Morocco, Luis Suarez has been approached by Deportes Cuatro reporter who asked the Uruguayan of he would be available for Barca's home clash against Real Batis on Sunday.
Suarez, unfortunately, has informed him that this is 'impossible' as he wouldn't be able to recover in time for the game.
As a reminder, the veteran striker picked up a calf muscle injury in the first half of the game against Athletic at San Mames. According to an earlier report from RAC1, the Uruguay international could be back in action in just 10 to 15 days.
If the update turns out to be true, Luis will only miss two games:
Moreover, the expected time of his recovery could not be more convenient. After the Osasuna match, the players will leave on international duty, with the next league match planned only for September 14 (vs Valencia at Camp Nou). Considering the 32-year-old would only be back from injury, Uruguay might not call up the striker.
How do you think we will fare without Luis on Sunday?
