RAC1: PSG respond to Barca's loan offer for Neymar
- The Parisians rejected Barca's latest bid.
- Barcelona offered a one-year loan with an option to buy the Brazilian in summer 2020.
- The negotiations are expected to continue with Barca's next offer to follow.
The Catalans supposedly proposed a one-year loan with a non-obligatory option to buy the player next year. However, the Parisians are still considering a loan deal but want to get more money for both the loan fee and the buyout clause. For the loan itself, the Catalans were offering around 15-20 million euros, about twice as much as the Bavarians paid for Coutinho.
Despite the alleged rejection, both Barca and PSG are reportedly optimistic about the deal as Barca's next bid is expected to follow soon.
Diario Sport believe Barcelona officials are going to travel to Paris once again to finalize the operation. On Sunday, Goal revealed that the Parisians could demand 220-250 million euros for the Brazilian in the summer of 2020.
Meanwhile, the signing of Neymar becomes somewhat of an urgent matter for the Catalans. After both Leo Messi and Luis Suarez have sustained injuries, Ousmane Dembele is reported to miss five weeks with a thigh injury. Meanwhile, Philippe Coutinho has already joined Bayern on loan. This leaves Barca with only one healthy starting attacker, Antoine Griezmann.
