Spain manager Moreno unveils who he voted for in Ballon d'Or poll
- Robert has chosen Lionel Messi and Frenkie de Jong above Virgil van Dijk.
- However, he also put Real Madrid's star signing Eden Hazard in the 2nd place.
Spain national team's coach Robert Moreno has exclusively revealed his voting preferences in this year's Ballon d'Or poll on the radio show El Transistor.
Curiously enough, Robert hasn't put Messi's biggest rival of last season Virgil van Dijk in his top 3.
Robert Moreno stepped up to replace former Barca boss Luis Enrique as Spain's new coach. Enrique was forced to leave his post due to personal reasons in June 2019.
Moreno used to be an assistant coach of Luis Enrique during his times at Barca in 2014-2017. Under their guidance, Barcelona managed to claim their long-awaited treble back in 2014/15.
What concerns "The Best" award, this is the relatively new formation of Ballon d'Or. The current award holder is Real Madrid's Luka Modric.
