Valverde hints Vidal could start against Betis

Ernesto Valverde couldn't be satisfied with the amount of the attacking players he currently has within his Blaugrana side. Ousmane Dembele and Luis Suarez are injured while Lionel Messi is highly doubtful for Sunday night's game against Real Betis. The boss even hints at the possibility of starting Arturo Vidal to add more attacking power in the midfield area.
Valverde says: "It’s clear that if we are missing forwards we need players who can step up, players who can get to the area and score goals. It’s true we have a lot of absences, it’s always a good option to have midfielders who can push forward."
Vidal hasn't yet featured for Barcelona in an official game since the start of the 2019/2020 campaign. He returned late from the extended holidays following his participation in the Copa America campaign this summer. Vidal's Chile were beaten by Leo Messi's Argentina 2-1 in the third-place playoff fixture.
There is no certainty whether Vidal is going to stay at Barcelona this summer. He is heavily linked with Inter where he could reunite with his former Juventus head coach Antonio Conte. Given Barca's abundance in the midfield area, Vidal can only feature as a substitute this
