4 lineup options for Valverde to use starboy Fati
Ansu Fati recently became the second-youngest player to make his debut for Barca's first team. Today, we look at all the ways the coach could use his talents.
1. Left winger
This is the position Ernesto Valverde actually used the player in the Real Betis match. Young and fast, Ansumane would be perfect for matches against sides from the bottom half of the table.
2. Right winger
Considering that Ansu has a strong right foot, the youngster could actually cover the right flank as well. Leo Messi could move to his old position in the centre of the attack.
3. Central midfield
It should not be a surprise that Fati, thanks to his talent, can cover several positions on the pitch. The 16-year-old has actually played as a central midfielder for the youth teams. At 178cm, Fati won't have a problem fighting for the ball when needed. Also, Fati is used to playing against older opponents.
4. Best position - attacking midfielder
Although it's hard to believe that Ernesto would change the formation just to suit the youngster, this is actually his best position on the pitch, in which he flourished at the youth teams. Fati's acceleration, physical strength, technique and his eye for the goal might actually see him eventually become on of the best midfielders in world football.
