Still no Messi: 3 things we've noticed from pre-Osasuna training
Ernesto Valverde has given Barcelona players free Tuesday. The training has resumed on Wednesday's morning. Is there any news from the Tito Vilanova ground?
Still no Messi
Unfortunately, the Argentinean is unable to rejoin the group training. He has been training individually this Wednesday. Given there are only two more training sessions left before the Osasuna game, there is a huge doubt whether Messi could make his long-anticipated return this Saturday.
No De Jong either
The Dutchman is another absentee from Wednesday's training session. He has been doing some 'specific work'. Perhaps, the 22-year-old just needs some rest as he hasn't completely get used to the Barcelona and La Liga excessive demands. De Jong has played two full matches for Barca already.
La Masia gems here again
The trio of youngsters are still training with the first-team. Inaki Pena, Carles Perez and Ansu Fati have already become regulars at the Barcelona sessions. The goalkeeper provides the needed cover for injured Neto while both Perez and Fati featured against Betis. Perhaps, they could even start against Osasuna if Messi isn't fit.
