Lothar Matthaus, former Bayern Munich and Germany national team midfielder, predicts a successful partnership between Robert Lewandowski and Barcelona loanee Philippe Coutinho. The duo already played together for around 30 minutes in the 3-0 Schalke win last week.
Goal quote Matthaus as saying: "Coutinho flashed off his fine technique in the 30 minutes that Niko Kovac gave him at Schalke, and he seems to have arrived in Munich with great pleasure, especially with Robert Lewandowski."
He continues: "This can become an absolute dream duo in Germany and Europe, the Brazilian magic foot and the best striker in the world."
In case you have forgotten, Coutinho joined Bayern on an €8,5million season-long loan deal last week. The Bavarians are able to sign him on a permanent basis for €120 million euros until July 2020.
