- Alexis spent three years, won six trophies and found the net on 47 occasions.
FC Barcelona have been drawn into the so-called group of death in the 2019/2020 Champions League. They face Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan and Slavia Prague in the Group F. Clearly, the first two opponents were the ones the Catalans would prefer avoiding the most.
However, this draw presents a unique opportunity for Barcelona stars to reunite with two former Blaugrana players. Paco Alcacer has been plying his trade for Dortmund since last year's move while Alexis Sanchez has joined Inter Milan just some hours after the draw was finished.
Paco spent two years at Barca, between 2016 and 2018. The back-up striker only managed to score 15 goals in 50 games in all competitions. He won three titles during this time. Paco has been thriving at Borussia so far as he has already found the net on 24 occasions in 36 matches.
Alexis lasted three years at Barca, between 2011 and 2014. Lack of opportunities, combined with Luis Suarez's arrival, forced him to leave for Arsenal. In January 2018, he joined Manchester United but didn't have much success there. Eventually, he has been loaned out to Inter.
At Barca, he scored 47 goals in 141 matches and won a total of six trophies.
